Featured Folio: Earth Observations
In “Earth Observations,” I attempt to interpret and record the marks made by humans while “being alive and moving across the land.
My “Earth Observation” folios use satellite imagery to observe and mark human traces related to regional conflict, border migration, indigenous conflicts, energy extraction, and agricultural and animal husbandry-related land use. Some marks are recent, but most are decades old or much older. I observe so that others can learn through my eyes and the gestures of my creative marking.
